Before you download
ExileWorld uses its own account and Windows launcher. You need an ExileWorld account to sign in; an account from the official game is not a substitute. The server is independent of the official NosTale service.
The website’s setup checklist is:
- Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)
- 4 GB RAM
- DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics
- 10 GB free disk space
The launcher downloads the game files on first launch. Keep at least 10 GB free; download time depends on your connection and the current update. The installer file size is not the size of the complete game.
1. Create and verify your account
Open ExileWorld registration, choose your account details and use an email address you can access. Complete the verification steps shown after registration. If you are waiting for an email, check the address you entered and your spam folder before trying again.
Already registered? Use the sign-in page. If you have forgotten your password, use account recovery instead of creating another account.
2. Install the Windows launcher
Get the installer from the ExileWorld download page. That page links to the current Windows installer and shows the available version information. Run the installer, choose a location with enough free space, then let the launcher download the game files and updates.
Wait until the update finishes before starting the game. An SSD can help with installation and updates; your connection and the size of the current update also affect how long the first download takes. There is no fixed installation time.
3. Open the game and start your character
Start the game through the launcher and sign in with your ExileWorld account. When deciding on a class, our Swordsman, Archer and Mage guide is a starting point. Read the progression wiki for the server’s in-game instructions; ExileWorld has its own changes, so guides for other servers may not apply.
If something goes wrong
- Not enough space: free space for the game download and future updates, not just the installer.
- Login problem: check the account details and complete the email verification requested by the site. For a forgotten password, use account recovery.
- Launcher error: note your Windows version, the launcher version and the exact error message.
- Security warning: confirm that the installer came from the download page and ask the team about the exact warning. Do not disable your protection just to bypass it.
For help, contact the team through ExileWorld Discord. Share the error message and the step that failed, but never your password, verification code or recovery code.
Before your first session
Read the community rules, check the latest announcements and use the event calendar to see what is scheduled. The player rankings let you follow the community as your character progresses.
