Choose the way you enjoy playing
A character’s class is a starting point. Equipment, specialist cards and the activity you are doing also shape the experience. Rather than choosing a universal “best class”, think about whether you prefer fighting up close, keeping your distance or using magic.
Swordsman: the close-range path
Swordsman is the natural starting point if you like being close to the fight. When you look at specialist choices, pay attention to how each one changes your skills and the way you approach an encounter. ExileWorld’s first-specialist guide lists the Warrior card for this class.
Archer: the ranged path

Mage: the magic path

What to check before choosing a specialist
- The requirements to start the specialist quest and to equip the card may differ.
- Read the server-specific quest steps before preparing materials or travelling to a map.
- Look at current patch notes when comparing advice from older guides.
- Choose a style you want to play, rather than treating a leaderboard position as proof that one class is always strongest.
